Featuring lush black and white imagery and focusing on service and support, Best Buy’s rebranding campaign distills the customer/Blue Shirt dynamic with wit and charm. We helped produce over fifty commercials with Oscar-winning director Errol Morris.

TEEN TECH CENTER

CORPORATE COMMUNICATION

Ming produced a portrait series for Best Buy’s Teen Tech Centers, a community initiative that prepares young people for tech-reliant jobs through training, mentorship, and access to technology. We showcased students talking about the program’s impact on their lives through spoken word. Enlisting an authentic, emerging director, innovative production company Little Minx, and fresh, diverse voices, the series won top honors at the One Club’s prestigious One Screen Festival and National Addy awards.

For Best Buy’s ongoing digital video and social content, Ming Studios prototyped The Lab: a high quality/low budget turnkey production model showcasing Best Buy employees highlighting favorite product features.

Real Blue Shirts cast from around the country get the star treatment in each video, sharing their real opinions, using their own words, and providing unbiased product information.
