Before founding Ming, Brian ran the production departments at three of the industry’s most celebrated creative agencies and produced some of the most iconic campaigns of the last couple decades. Having spent twelve years on the production side before joining Fallon Advertising, Brian executive produced “The Hire” campaign for BMW, which received the first-ever Cannes Titanium Lion. Next stop was BBDO New York, where as Executive Director ofIntegrated Production, Brian led the agency’s new media initiatives for clients like AT&T, HBO and Starbucks. HBO Voyeur became the single most awarded campaign on the planet that year and shares a distinction with BMW Films, recognized by The One Club as two of the “Ten Best of the Digital Decade.” As the industry’s first Chief Production Officer, Brian joined McCann, leading the agency’s integrated production operations and content development. A key focus was re-engineering Chevrolet’s ad production, building out McCann Commonwealth’s capabilities across nine agency hubs and 140+ countries. In 2016, Ming worked directly with BMW to produce The Escape, the acclaimed return of BMW Films. For the past year, Ming has been providing production and business affairs services for Best Buy, producing the brand’s premium content as well as developing production platforms, in an industry-first arrangement.



Ming Studios’ Director of Business Affairs, Kristen hails from Philadelphia. Her diverse perspective on all aspects of bidding, estimating and BA process comes from two decades as a solution-driven senior advertising executive. Before joining Ming, Kristen helmed the Business Affairs departments at three agencies, Deutsch LA, Saatchi & Saatchi LA, and TBWA Media Arts Lab. Multimillion-dollar production agreements involving celebrity talent, brand use, music licensing, film/studio licensing and obscure trademarks fall in Kristen’s wheelhouse. She specializes in contract negotiations, team management, process development and improvement, rights procurement and maintenance. At MAL, Kristen oversaw all Apple production and traffic, including the iPhone 6 launch which consisted of 46 celebrities in a simultaneous, worldwide production, and the iconic crowd-sourced Shot on iPhone campaign, involving extensive global rights coordination.



A Detroit native, Executive Producer Adam Davis oversees production at Ming Studios. Adam began his professional career as a musician and music producer and has been a passionate player in the renaissance of Detroit’s arts and culture scene for 15 years. In the automotive world, Adam worked through the ranks of agency production, starting at Goodby Detroit as a radio producer before joining Commonwealth, where he gained extensive experience working on Chevrolet. Adam has produced every kind of automotive deliverable from digital assets to running footage to music videos to full brand campaigns, developing a reputation as the go-to producer for tricky situations. Seeking to learn more about production, Adam became Executive Producer at The Work, a Detroit-based SWAT team of directors, DPs and editors, known for its soup-to-nuts production chops. Joining Ming in 2014, Adam teamed with Brian to produce the 15th anniversary BMW Films short, The Escape. During a brief hiatus, Adam began work on and continues to produce a documentary in the jungles of Bolivia tracing the origins of an amazing culture blend: indigenous peoples learning and creating classical music.
